Beginner's Orientation to Fitness & Pilates For Bone Building & Balance - 4 Week Series
This class is ideal for active older adults, 65+. All new clients must start with this monthly series (4 weeks) first prior to joining Intermediate classes. Learn how to improve your posture, begin working on balance exercises and be introduced to equipment and machine training exercises for strength and bone building. This 4 week series is for those with a medical diagnosis of osteopenia or osteoporosis and can be a good start for those just starting their strength training. You will learn how to exercise safely for low bone density and learn the best exercises for osteoporosis, and avoid unsafe movements. This 4 class series will prepare you for to join the All Levels Class. Requires attendance of 2 to 3 x per week for 4 weeks.
Prerequisite: New clients must have the mobility to get up and down to the floor and pass an assessment first before joining classes. Call Jean to book a consultation.

Continue getting stronger and achieve optimal fitness and health. This intermediate level, moderately paced class is ideal for seniors 65+ who are ready to progress to harder exercises after successfully completing Orientation Classes.
